This year is the tenth anniversary of the first lost boys and girls arrival in the Boston area. In those ten years, we have provided more than 1.5 million dollars in the form of scholarships, internships, computers, childcare and camp stipends, and literacy programs for South Sudanese families. We hope you will join us on April 28, 2012 as we celebrate “10 Years Later, the Story of the Lost Boys and Girls of Sudan.”

Our celebration begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction. As you may know, the South Sudanese people are among the world’s great cattle keepers. Most of Boston’s Sudanese refugees fled their homes as children, but in their memories cattle hold a revered place. The theme of this auction is “COWS.”

There are many ways in which you can support our event: become a sponsor, buy an ad in our playbill, contribute to our auction and/or attend our event on April 28 and help us celebrate! Our event will start at 6PM at Arlington Town Hall. Your contribution to our event will allow The Sudanese Education Fund to maintain current programs and fund new ones as the needs of this community evolve with each year they live in the U.S
